I've added a few updates to the sites code. mainly these are bug fixes and a few extensions to features. the gallery and the forum are under construction. i'm working hard on them in the background. i've also noticed that when you register with an hotmail account the activation message is marked as Spam and will end up in the Junk folder. This does not happen with gmail accounts or my normal account. i'm thinking for a solution on this. but its an known M$ bug to be honest. |

okay, so its been about a year since the previous version went live. in the past year i've spend my time mainly working, partying and coding. now the new version of TeknoRadio is complete. i was unable to add all the features i wanted but they're easily to add in the near future. i had to do a 90% rewrite of the code because i ran into problems that just did not allow me to finish the job ever. now the code that's running TeknoRadio has been improved, updated and made ready for additions of any sort. because we will have to change servers as well the music server will be going down together with the site. REQUESTS ARE POSSIBLE AGAIN in the new version. and the HIGH STREAM will be open again. There probably are some bugs. but there will be a good working bug report form on the new website version and i would like to ask all of you to use that every time you see one. I will put my effort in there to fix them all and i will continue working on more additional features for TeknoRadio. |

Some time ago there was a idea to set up a livestream for events so that people can follow the event (concert, DJ set) live on the internet. Well this idea is finally getting shape. Most of the time the nearest internet connection is some distance away from the live event, so you've got to set up a wireless network that can build a network bridge between the computers at the live event and this nearest internet connection. This is necessary to stream the audio on the internet. So.... We've bought some nice stuff :) . Two Parabolic Grid antennas:  Four Sector antennas:  And a Slotted Waveguide antenna:  With this antennas it is possible to set up a wireless bridge for about 15 km. So we can provide livestreaming for a event with the nearest internet connection 15 km away :) At the moment I'm testing the antennas so they will be ready for use at the first event we will be streaming. So the people off TeknoRadio are coming out from they're caves and holes under the ground? Yes they are! We will be at the Villa Friekens Festival at Amsterdam from 16 till 18 May 2008 streaming it live on the internet. O I almost forgot to say....... For a long time we've said that we are busy, busy.... and... busy... with getting a new server. It is finally getting ready! We're now renting a server that is located at a datacenter. DaxAra is at the moment setting this nice thing up to get it ready for action. This new server has already a name but we keep this secret until the work is done and we take our time to get it good and stable running from the start. More news...? Yes! So most of you were brave enough to register yourself at this website. After you login then..... well there was nothing extra :P There is a new website version coming out, DaxAra already told that at a earlier post. This new version has some nice new options for members. |
