1. Choose your player
You've tried to listen to our stream, but ended up hearing... ehmmm nothing.
Your normal, default audio/media player may not support our stream format (.ogg), so we suggest that you download one of the following free players for your platform/operating system:
Windows
Download and install a free player like WinAmp or VLC Player.
When you want to use windows mediaplayer you have to download and install the illiminable Ogg Directshow filters to enable support for Ogg in Windows Media Player. If iTunes is your favourite player then try installing the Xiph Plug-in for Quick Time.
Mac OS X
try a free software player such as VLC Player, Whamb or MPlayer OS X.
When you want to use QuickTime you have to download and install the Xiph Plug-in for Quick Time which will enable Ogg support in iTunes.
Linux
Linux comes with loads of free players installed, including XMMS, MPlayer, Xine, FreeAmp, VLC or Helix Player.
2. Tune In
When the audio player that can play .ogg streams is the default player you can listen to our stream by just clicking on the "Click here to listen" option under the Tune In menu link.
If not you have to make the audio player that can play the .ogg stream the default player, use Google to find out how to do that for your platform/operating system.
If you don't want to do or change this, you can enter our streaming URL's manually.
enter our stream URL's manually
You will need to point it at the stream you wish to listen to. Do this by using "open URL", "play location", "open sequence", "open web location" or using the address bar if it has one. You will need to provide it with a full URL to the stream. So type or copy and paste in the URL. The streaming URL's are:
Low Quality: http://teknoradio.org:8000/teknoradio-low.ogg
High Quality: http://teknoradio.org:8000/teknoradio-high.ogg
All audio/media players:
A list of audio/media players that you can use is avaible at vorbis.com
Help:
Can't get it to work?
